100 Meter Dash
Winfield's Allie Germann got out well and was not challenged in taking the win in 12.60.
Fairmont Senior's Gracie Lamb closed well for 2nd in 12.77. North Marion's Abby Masters
also closed very well for 3rd in 12.81. Oak Glen's Kamela Ward was also under 13 seconds at 12.91.
Lewis' Olivia Krinov and Bianca Jamen took the final two spots at 13.02 and 13.26, respectivley.

200 Meter Dash
Winfield's Allie Germann again got out well and was not seriously challenged in taking the win
in 26.90. North Marion's Abby Masters used very strong last 100 to take a solid 2nd in 27.16.
Fairmont Senior's Maddie Awbrey closed well to score 3rd in 27.52. Lewis took the next two spots
with Nevaiah Simmons in 27.69 and Bianca Jamen in 27.86. Weir's Blaire McUmar grabbed
the final spot in 27.99.

400 Meter Dash
Winfield's Allie Germann dominated the field to take the win by over 2 seconds with a 59.70.
Oak Glen's Kamela Ward was the only other one to go under 62 seconds with a 1:01.87. Lewis'
Nevaiah Simmons scored 3rd in a tight race over Elkins' Kiley Edwards 1:02.65, Wayne's
Kathryn Dean 1:02.74, and Nicholas' Natalie Barr 1:02.97. This one was odd. Due to significant
pooling of water in lanes 1 and 2, they ran 3 heats instead of 2.

800 Meter Run
PikeView's Erin O'Sullivan led through the first lap in 1:09 with Winfield's Rachael Withrow
in 2nd at 1:10. That was matched by Winfield's Mariam Al-Zoubi in 3rd, and East Fairmont's Erykah
Christopher in 4th. Nicholas' Natalie Barr was in 5th at 1:11 with that time matched by
Wayne's Emily Williamson. At the beginning of lap 2, O'Sullivan broke away and established a large
gap on the field that would hold until less than 50 meters to go. Barr would overtake her in the
final stages to score the win in 2:24.51. O'Sullivan would hold on for 2nd in 2:25.49. Williamson
finished strong for 3rd in 2:25.80. Christopher grabbed 4th in 2:26.59, just nipping Winfield's Alanna
Roberts' 2:26.62 for the spot. Al-Zoubi would claim the final spot by just 0.03 over Withrow, 2:27.33
to 2:27.36.

1600 Meter Run
Winfield's Rachael Withrow led the field through the 1st lap in 1:15 with teammate Alanna Roberts
in 2nd at 1:16. That time was matched by East Fairmont's Erykah Christopher and Wayne's Emily
Williamson. I believe it was Liberty Harrison's Desinty Berryman in 5th at 1:17 and Fairmont
Senior's Lydia Falkenstein in 6that 1:18. At the 800, Withrow was in command of the race, coming through
in 2:35. Christopher had moved into 2nd at 2:42 with Williamson matching that time in 3rd. Berryman was in 4th
at 2:43 with Falkenstein and Roberts in 5th and 6th, respectively at 2:44. On lap, 3, Withrow remained in the
lead at 4:00, but the camera followed her and I didn't see any of the followers. Withrow would go on to take the
win in 5:19.79. Williamson closed really well to cut the gap to less than 3 seconds, taking 2nd in 5:22.36.
Christopher would easily hold the 3rd spot in 5:27.53. Falkenstein would climb to 4th in 5:32.55. Roberts
would hold the 6th spot in 5:33.33. PikeView's Erin O'Sullivan moved into 6th in 5:37.24.

3200 Meter Run
After one lap, I think it was North Marion's Taylor Hess in the lead at 1:19. Winfield's Rachael
Withrow was in 2nd at 1:20. Fairmont Senior's Lydia Falkenstein was in 3rd at 1:21. Wayne's
Olivia Williamson was in 4th at 1:22 with that time matched by PikeView's Erin O'Sullivan
and someone else that I couldn't identify. On lap 2, Withrow had moved solidly into the lead at 2:45
and Falkenstein had moved into 2nd. After 3 laps, it was Withrow at 4:10. She was followed by
Falkenstein, Berkeley Springs' Belle Harvey, O'Sullivan, Scott's Jalynn Browning, and Williamson.
At the midway point, Withrow was in full command, passing at 5:36. After 5 laps, it was Withrow at 7:03
in the lead. Falkenstein was in 2nd at 7:22. Harvey was in 3rd at 7:24, and O'Sullivan was up to 4th.
After 6 laps, Withrow remained in the lead at 8:31 with Falkenstein in 2nd at 8:54. After 7 laps, it
was Withrow at 9:59 and Falkenstein at 10:25. In the end, in remained all Withrow as she took the win
by nearly 30 seconds with her 11:21.67. Falkenstein would hold 2nd at 11:50.31. O'Sullivan worked her
way into 3rd at some point and just got in under the 12:00 minute mark with an 11:59.35. Harvey scored
4th at 12:10.55. Browning would take 5th in 12:15.98, and Williamson took the final spot in 12:27.60.
One of my predicted placers scratched the event.

100 Meter High Hurdles
Winfield's Rylee Hinkle exploded out of the block and fended off a late push by Point Pleasant's
Elicia Wood to take the win in 15.81 to Wood's 15.95. Winfield's Nikki Walker was 3rd in
16.43 with Oak Glen's Izabelle Barganski in 4th at 16.55. Philip Barbour's Callie Collins
scored 5th in 16.82 with Fairmont Senior's Paytyn Neal grabbing the final spot in 16.94.

300 Meter Low Hurdles
Oak Glen's Izabelle Barganski scored the win in 48.81. North Marion's Lauren McGinty
came up for 2nd in 49.52. Winfield's Carly Jordan was the only other one to go under 50 seconds
in taking 3rd in 49.88. North Marion's Rylee Delovich was 4th in 50.18. Shady Spring's Lillian
Hatfield was 5th in 50.69 with Winfield's Mia Duterte taking 6th in 50.95. One of my predicted
placers was challenging for the lead but fell into the last hurdle and was DQ'd for touching it with her hands.

4x100 Meter Relay
Fairmont Senior's group of Paytyn Neal, Maddie Awbrey, Marin Parker, and Gracie Lamb sped to the win
in 51.95. Winfield was the only other team to go under 53 seconds with a 52.72. Weir edged Oak Glen for
3rd 53.54 to 53.63. North Marion was 5th in 54.60 with Keyser 6th in 54.41.

4x200 Meter Relay
North Marion team of Trinity Hine, Cierra Parker, Rylee Delovich, and Abby Masters plowed through the
field to win by almost 2 seconds in 1:48.54. Winfield was the only other team under 1:51 with a 1:50.48.
Fairmont Senior moved up to 3rd in 1:51.19 with Oak Glen 4th at 1:51.52. Wayne was 5th in 1:52.36, and
Lewis was 6th in 1:54.75.

4x400 Meter Relay
Elkins took a strong lead on the first leg with Oak Glen in 2nd, North Marion in 3rd, Winfield 4th, and I think
Frankfort in 5th. After two legs, it was still Elkins in the lead at 2:09. North Marion was in 2nd at 2:11
with Oak Glen in 3rd at 2:12. Wayne was in 4th at 2:13, followed by Winfied in 2:14 and Fairmont Senior in
2:15. After 3 legs, it was still Elkins in the lead at 3:16 with North Marion in 3:17, and Oak Glen at 3:18.
I believe it went Wayne, Frankfort, and Fairmont Senior after that. On the final leg, Oak Glen made the move
to give the unit of Phoebe Molish, Gracie Wright, Izabelle Barganski, and Kamela Ward the win in 4:19.78.
North Marion moved to 2nd in 4:21.25. Elkins held on for 3rd in 4:21.70. Wayne was 4th in 4:23.86. After
a DQ, Frankfort moved up to 5th in 4:27.65, and Winfield got 6th in 4:34.38.

4x800 Meter Relay
After one leg, it was Winfield in the lead at 2:29 with Elkins in 2nd at 2:33, Liberty Harrison in 3rd
at 2:35, Lincoln in 4th in 2:36, Fairmont Senior in 5th in 2:37, and Wayne in 6th at 2:39. On the 2nd
leg, Elkins moved into the lead at aroudn 5:08. Liberty Harrison had moved into 2nd in 5:10. Winfield
was 3rd in 5:15. Wayne was up to 4th in 5:18. I think it was Berkeley Springs in 5th and Fairmont Senior
in 6th. After 3 legs, Elkins had opened a large gap on the field, coming through in 7:40. Liberty Harrison
remained in 2nd at 7:54 with Wayne up to 3rd in 7:56. Berkeley Springs was in 4th 7:58 with Winfield in
5th at 8:02, and Oak Glen up to 6th in 8:07. In the end, Elkins was never threatened their foursome of
Kiley Edwards, Anna Belan, Samantha Sproul, and Addison Berdine took the win in
10:18.59. Wayne moved up to 2nd in 10:23.79. Liberty Harrison held 3rd at 10:26.80. Berkeley Springs
would keep 4th in 10:31.56. Winfield remained 5th in 10:34.47, and Oak Glen kept the final spot in 10:40.30.

Shuttle Hurdle Relay
I have tried repeatedly to watch this race and have yet to see a single second of the final heat, so I have
no idea how this race played out. But it ended with Sissonville's unit of Hailey Skeen, Amelia Compston,
Sara Beckett, and Zoey McCutcheon scored the narrow win over Winfield, 1:07.96 to 1:08.07. Winfield was
easily 2nd. Point Pleasant scored 3rd in 1:10.55 with Philip Barbour 4th in 1:11.08. Independence was 5th in
1:11.90 with Keyser 6th in 1:12.90.

High Jump
Point Pleasant's Elicia Wood took the win with a 5'2 jump. Fairmont Senior's Eden Williams
was 2nd at 5'0. Liberty Harrison's Kaitlin Nutter and Winfield's Emerson Vanscoy cleared
4'10 in taking 3rd and 4th, respectively. North Marion's Lanie Richards was 5th at 4'8 with Sissonville's
Madison McCutcheon and Frankfort's Emily Smith tied for 6th also at 4'8.

Pole Vault
Winfield's Dianna Goodman cleared 12'2 to score the win and the Class AA State Meet Record. This also
stands as the Best All-Time State Meet Performance and the Best All-Time Class A-AA State Meet Performance.
She took 3 shots at 12'7, which would have been a new All-Time Best, but was unable to clear the height.
Emerson Vanscoy gave Winfield a 1-2 finish with her 9'6 vault. Berkeley Springs' Mikayla Ed and
Winfield's Nikki Walker cleared 9'0 in taking 3rd and 4th, respectively. Sissonville's Sara Beckett
was 5th at 8'6. Liberty Harrison's Sara Lowe and Point Pleasant's Skyla Hall tied for 6th at 8'0.

Long Jump
Winfield's Allie Germann sailed 17'1.25 to win by over a foot. Teammate Dianna Goodman was the
only other jumper to top 16' with her leap of 16'0.75. North Marion's Gabrielle Conaway and Lewis' Lauren
Wyatt both jumped 15'9.25 with Conaway getting the 3rd spot based on the 2nd best jump tie-breaker. Grafton's
Caroline Wellman went 14'11.50 for 5th with Roane's Kaitlyn Clarkson 6th at 14'11.

Point Pleasant's Addy Cottrill easily scored the win with a toss of 38'0.25, taking the event by over 2 feet.

at 33'8.25. Grafton's Jerra Halbritter was 4th with a 33'3.25. Fairmont Senior's Gracie Lamb was 5th
with a 33'1.50. North Marion's Aubrey Payton moved into 6th on her final throw with a 32'5.50.

Point Pleasant's Addy Cottrill sailed one 133'9 to win by almost 23'. That stands as the 7th Best All-Time
State Meet Performance and the 3rd Best All-Time Class A-AA State Meet Performance. Nicholas' Taylor
Winebrenner was the only other one to top 100' with her throw of 110'10. Winfield scored 3rd and 4th with
Mallory McGinnis throwing 97'8 and Brianna Browning throwing 96'4. Grafton's Jerra Halbritter
was 5th with a 93'0. Philip Barbour's Elizabeth Kittle was 6th with a 91'3.
